As someone who believes in truly understanding his craft, Omar does it all - and that includes reporting, producing, filming, editing, directing, and writing - across television, radio, and online.

Joining the BBC back in 2016, Omar gone from strength to strength. He started off by answering the phones on a call-in show for BBC Asian Network - to presenting a whole episode of Click.

From showcasing how e-scooters can transform urban transport to investigating how influencers get hoodwinked into flogging fake products, he was Click’s go-to reporter whenever they need insights into any aspect of digital culture.

But Omar also loves to step behind the camera instead of just being in front of it. Be it showing how haptic feedback shirts allowed deaf ravers to ‘feel’ music or how preventing cyber-attacks gave an army veteran a new purpose in life, Omar places great importance in highlighting how technology may shape or affect people’s lives.
